Claude Cowork

Make Claude do the work you keep putting off

Friday 23 October, 9:00am –12:15pm
Pūtangitangi Greenmeadows Centre, Stoke
$195 incl. GST

You already know how to ask Claude for help. Cowork takes that further.

Instead of working through a task one prompt at a time, you can give Claude a job, the files and context it needs, and have it work through the steps with you.

In this practical workshop, you’ll use Cowork on real work and learn how to set tasks up so Claude can take on more of the effort without you losing control of the result.

What you’ll do

You’ll learn how to:

  • Choose the right tasks for Cowork
  • Give Claude the files, context and instructions it needs
  • Set up multi-step work rather than prompting one step at a time
  • Make recurring tasks easier to repeat
  • Steer Claude when the work needs adjusting
  • Review and check what it produces
  • Decide what should stay with you and what can be handed over

Bring a task from your own work that takes too long, comes up regularly, or involves pulling information together from several places. You’ll have time to work on it during the session.

Who is it for?

This workshop is for people who have already used Claude and want to move beyond basic prompting.

You might be managing projects, producing reports, handling recurring admin, working with documents, preparing communications or simply wondering what else Claude could take off your plate.

You don’t need to code or be particularly technical.

If you’re completely new to Claude, we recommend doing Intro to Claude first.

What to bring

Bring your laptop, your Claude account and a real task you’d like to make easier.

A paid Claude plan is required for the practical Cowork exercises.

Want to spend the afternoon with Claude too?

Claude Design runs from 1:30pm–4:45pm on the same day.
