AI for Business – Christchurch

A hands-on half-day workshop in Christchurch for people who know AI matters but aren’t sure where to start.

Everyone’s talking about AI. Far fewer people know where to actually begin, and the noise makes it worse. This half-day cuts through it. You’ll get practical tools and real examples you can use the same week, taught in plain language with no assumed knowledge.

About the presenter

Kale is Business Director at KZN Digital and has spent the best part of a decade working across marketing, digital and growth in professional sport, energy and agency environments.

Outside of work, he spends probably too much time building AI automations, business systems and personal knowledge bases that tools like Claude and ChatGPT can actually draw on. A lot of that experimentation is focused on a pretty simple question: what can AI take off your plate without creating more work in the process?

AI is as much a hobby as it is part of his job, so expect real examples, honest opinions, things that haven’t worked, and a few ideas you can probably try the next morning.

About the AI Sandbox

The AI Sandbox is a not-for-profit community AI hub. In March 2024 it opened the world’s first walk-in AI space in Nelson: somewhere anyone can turn up, ask questions and get hands-on help with AI, free of charge. Since then it has worked face to face with more than 6,000 people and 250 organisations across the top of the South Island, through drop-in sessions, workshops and outreach, now we are expanding to Christchurch.
