Claude 2: Cowork and Design

Make Claude do the work you keep putting off.

Claude 2: Cowork and design. A three-hour, hands-on morning in Nelson. Friday 19 June, $195 incl. GST.

Intro to Claude got you confident using it. This is about building with it.

You will leave with three things working: a skill that writes in your voice, a Cowork setup that does a weekly admin job for you, and a design workflow that turns an idea into a printable, on-brand mockup. You work on your own real tasks the whole way, with help on hand.

Agenda:

  • Skills. Build a skill that knows your brand voice and templates.
  • Cowork. Turn a weekly admin job into a short, repeatable one.
  • Design. Get from an idea to a printable, on-brand mockup.
  • Hands on throughout, on your own work. One short break.

FAQ:

Do I need a paid plan? A paid Claude plan is recommended and may be needed for the Cowork part. Bring what you have and we will sort access on the day. The Cowork exercise has a path you can follow either way.

Do I need to be technical? No code, anywhere. If you can write three plain sentences and drag in a file, you can build everything in this room.

What should I bring? A laptop, your Claude account, a brand guide or a few past documents, and a weekly task you would rather not do by hand.

I haven’t done Intro to Claude. Start there first. This session assumes you already use Claude.

We use ChatGPT, not Claude. The thinking carries across, but the hands-on work is in Claude by design.
